Myers Park Methodist Church and Efird's Department Store created by Louis Asbury, the Carolina Theater  designed by Charles Christian Hook, and the Mint Museum of Art and the Charlotte S&W Cafe developed by Martin E. Boyer, all had lasting influences on the culture of the Charlotte neighborhoods. Each building represents a different aspect of culture within the community.
