Martin Boyer's Industrial Loan and Investment Bank is a classic example of a Greco-Roman Temple from the Classical Period. The iconic pillars on the facade and the carved marble pediment above the columns are the defining characteristic that make the facade Neoclassic. Martin Boyer reconstructed the building in 1929 after the booming textile industry supported the cities economy. As seen in the photograph, the facade looks quite separate from the rest of the building. Once the buildings on either side of the Loan and Bank center, the visual aspect of the building flowed much more easily for the eyes.
