Title
Mayfair Hotel
Subject
Commercial Architecture
Description
Completed in 1929, the Mayfair Hotel was by no means the largest hotel in Charlotte. However, it was considered one of the most elegant. It is designed in the Neoclassical design with a balcony on the top floor that is part of its penthouse suite. It still stands on N. Tryon Street as the Dunhill Hotel.
